Naomi Skinner, a 25-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically killed on February 12, 2022, in Highland Park, Michigan. Naomi was fatally shot by her boyfriend, Michael Cortez Norris, during a physical altercation inside their apartment. The incident occurred at approximately 1:33 a.m. in an apartment building located in the 14200 block of 2nd Avenue.
