On March 8, 2022, Flint Police responded to a shooting incident in the 2200 block of Carpenter Road during the early morning hours. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men, aged 61 and 60, who had succumbed to apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were later identified as Timothy Lloyd Sanders, aged 61, and Tracy Lee Rembert, aged 60.
