In the late afternoon of March 14, 2022, a trip to a Wyoming, Michigan, Walmart ended in tragedy for 29-year-old LaVail Dwayne Walker Sr., a Black male. Walker was at the store on 54th Street to drop off the wife of Tyray Daquion Holliday when a fatal confrontation occurred in the parking lot.
