In the spring of 2022, William Ray Morris-Hannah, a 40-year-old male, tragically lost his life to gun violence in Grand Rapids, Michigan. On the evening of Sunday, May 15, 2022, police responded to reports of a shooting on the city's Southeast Side. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Logan Street SE and Diamond Avenue SE.
