Edward Odell Fite, a 48-year-old police officer from Brooklyn, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2005. Officer Fite was serving with the Wiggins Police Department at the time of his death. He had previously worked with the Lamar County Sheriff's Office, the Lumberton City Police Department, and the New Augusta Police Department.
