On March 27, 2024, 21-year-old Tyrese Edward Moye, a resident of Wiggins, Mississippi, was fatally shot in the head at a residence on East Avery Road. Deputies from the Stone County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene, where Moye was pronounced dead.
Following the incident, the Sheriff's Department took a person of interest into custody. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of two individuals charged with Moye's murder.
