In the quiet community of Helena, Mississippi, the life of 85-year-old Charles Ike Mason, Jr., a local junkyard owner, was brought to a violent end on March 2, 2011. A customer visiting his property on Hog Island discovered Mr. Mason shot to death inside his home, a place where he had built a life and a business.
