Jamerica Ragsdale, a 6-year-old girl from Vicksburg, Mississippi, tragically died on November 13, 2013, after being shot in the head. The incident occurred when a 16-year-old family friend, who was reportedly playing with a .22 caliber pistol, accidentally discharged the weapon, striking Jamerica. The teenager involved was charged with being a minor in possession of a firearm.
