Eric Hyder, a 32-year-old resident of Claiborne, Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed on January 13, 2014. The incident occurred near Hyder's residence on Y Camp Road. According to reports, Hyder was walking home from work when Marque West, a 20-year-old local resident, drove up, shot Hyder, and then sped off. The shooting was described as a senseless crime by Claiborne County Sheriff Marvin Lucas, who noted that Hyder was only about 100 yards from his house when the incident occurred. ...Read More
