In the small community of Walnut, Mississippi, friends and family mourned the loss of Glenn Eugene Martindale, a 51-year-old man who passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014. Born on September 1, 1962, to the late Bobby Gene and Jo Ann Britt Martindale, he was a known figure in his community. A plumber and mechanic by trade, Martindale had also served his state as a member of the Mississippi National Guard.
A man of faith, he was a member of the Oakland Baptist Church.
His life was celebrated in a service held at the Ripley Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Jesse Cutrer officiating, followed by his burial in New Salem Cemetery. He left behind a loving family, including his wife, Theresa Martindale of Walnut; a daughter, Jessica Nicole Martindale of Michigan City; and two sons, Brian Glenn Martindale of Michigan City and Joseph Guy Martindale of Walnut. He was also survived by his brother, Doug Martindale, and a grandchild, Bryson Huff.
