On April 21, 2024, Trey Clark, a 31-year-old resident of Shubuta, Mississippi, was fatally shot in the 900 block of Waller Ridge Road. The incident occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m., following an altercation at a residence. Clark was transported to Wayne General Hospital in a personal vehicle, where he was pronounced dead by Wayne County Coroner Phillip Brewer. An autopsy confirmed that Clark died from a shotgun wound sustained during the incident.
