Death by Force

On July 5, 2014, Darrius Morris, an 18-year-old from Centreville, Mississippi, was tragically shot to death in the early morning hours on Mangum Street in the Ash Quarters neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3 a.m., and Centreville Police Chief Jimmy Ray Reese indicated that the fatal shot likely came from a rifle, although no weapon was recovered at the scene.
