In the late summer of 2014, the life of 27-year-old Raphael Robert Taylor, a male resident of Meridian, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. In the early hours of Saturday, August 30, 2014, a 911 call was made by a woman who reported a man being hit by a car on Earl Haney Road. However, when deputies from the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department arrived at the scene around 12:30 a.m., they discovered that Taylor had been shot twice.
