Diamond Stephens, a 39-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically killed on June 18, 2018, in Meridian, Mississippi. Stephens was found dead from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Her body was discovered inside a van that had crashed into a house, leading authorities to the scene.
