On the night of January 25, 2015, a dispute stemming from a drug transaction in Jackson, Mississippi, tragically ended the life of 24-year-old Jerrell Brown. The events of that evening unfolded after Brown purchased ecstasy pills and marijuana from Christopher Wise at the apartment of an acquaintance, Marcus Ware. Dissatisfied with the potency of the pills, Brown indicated he would be returning to the apartment.
