In the small town of Walnut Grove, Mississippi, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragic event that ended the life of Tonya Johnson Barton. The 37-year-old female kindergarten teacher was shot and killed on June 6, 2015. The incident, which took place at a residence on Main Street, was the first fatal shooting in the town since 1979.
