In the winter of 2016, the community of Grenada, Mississippi, was shaken by the violent death of 28-year-old Christopher Carter. On January 23rd, the young Black man's life was cut short by what was later determined to be an act of gun violence. The incident prompted an immediate and thorough investigation by the Grenada Police Department, as law enforcement officials worked to piece together the events that led to the tragic death.
