Eric Wendell Hampton, a 39-year-old resident of Vancleave, Mississippi, passed away on August 22, 2016. According to his obituary, Eric was born on March 21, 1977, and was a beloved member of his community. He is survived by his wife, Octavia Hampton, his parents, Robert and Darlene Hughes, and his seven children, among other family members. His funeral service was held on September 1, 2016, at New Light Baptist Church in Vancleave, with interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
