Eric Hampton

In the late summer of 2016, the small community of Vancleave, Mississippi, was rocked by the violent death of one of its own. Eric Wendell Hampton, a 39-year-old man, was fatally shot on the evening of August 22nd. Born in Biloxi, Hampton was described by his mother as a fun-loving individual who enjoyed singing and rapping. He had recently moved back in with his parents in Vancleave. He was a father of three children, though he was separated from his wife at the time of his death.
