Spenson Bennett Jr., a 12-year-old boy from Macon, Mississippi, tragically died on December 29, 2016. The incident occurred at a friend's home on Buggs Ferry Road in Noxubee County. According to reports, Spenson was involved in an accidental shooting. He and other young hunters had returned to the home when a high-powered rifle was accidentally discharged, resulting in his death. The Noxubee County Coroner, R.L. Calhoun, confirmed that the shooting was accidental.
