In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 20, 2025, the life of 29-year-old Demetrius Prince was cut short by gun violence in Macon, Mississippi. Deputies from the Noxubee County Sheriff's Department were called to a location known as Chubby's on Prairie Point Road shortly after 1:30 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Prince deceased at the scene. The male victim had sustained fatal injuries from a shooting incident.
