In the early morning hours of January 15, 2017, a violent altercation at the Sin City nightclub on Church Road in Pike County, Mississippi, claimed the life of 45-year-old Prentiss Jackson, a male resident of nearby Magnolia. The incident, which unfolded around 2 a.m. on a Sunday, resulted in a shooting that left four other individuals wounded and Jackson fatally injured by multiple gunshot wounds.
