Diva Serna, aged 31, was fatally shot on June 21, 2010, in Chicago. The incident occurred in the Gage Park neighborhood, on the city’s Southwest Side. Serna was found with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite rapid emergency medical response, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. The shooting took place in the early morning hours, highlighting the unpredictability and frequency of violent crime that was plaguing many Chicago neighborhoods during that period.
