In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in February 2017, the life of 27-year-old Rafael Thompson was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. His body was discovered in the driver's seat of his silver SUV, which had come to a stop on Christopher Avenue, in close proximity to Jackson State University. The quiet of the morning was shattered by the grim finding; Thompson had been shot multiple times.
