In the late evening of February 27, 2017, the life of 25-year-old Deverick Lee Johnson was tragically cut short in Long Beach, Mississippi. Responding to reports of a shooting at approximately 7:40 p.m., Long Beach Police discovered Johnson lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
