Detective James Franklin Northcutt, aged 54, tragically lost his life on May 6, 1998, in Long Beach, Mississippi. He was a dedicated member of the Long Beach Police Department, having served in law enforcement for 33 years. On the day of his death, Detective Northcutt and Sergeant Steven Morgan responded to a domestic disturbance call.
