Ronnie Russ Robinson, a 53-year-old police officer from Tishomingo, Mississippi, died on March 24, 2017, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His death occurred a day after he admitted to molesting a 17-year-old boy. Robinson, who was a married father of three and grandfather of six, had a long career in law enforcement, having served in various state, county, and city agencies.
