Rodney Byther, a 17-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2017. Rodney was fatally shot on a street bend near his home on Ventura Street. The incident occurred early in the morning, and authorities responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m. Rodney suffered a single gunshot wound to the back, which proved to be fatal.
