Ray Ressler, a 26-year-old from Chicago, was fatally shot on June 26, 2010, in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred on the Near West Side at 2129 South Wood Street around 4 a.m. According to reports, Ressler and another individual were in a vehicle involved in a minor traffic accident. After the collision, the occupants exited the vehicle, at which point they were approached by an unknown assailant who brandished a firearm and opened fire. Both victims were shot multiple times, ...
