In the late afternoon of August 12, 2017, a dispute on Beasley Road in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, tragically escalated, leading to the death of 37-year-old Jason Youngblood, a Black/African American male. Youngblood was discovered deceased in the middle of the street, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound.
