On November 4, 2017, Alexandria Dodd, a 21-year-old woman from Jackson, Mississippi, was found dead inside a vehicle on Woodview Drive. The Jackson Police Department received a call about a suspicious vehicle around 9:00 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a dark-colored sedan with bullet holes on the driver's side. Inside the car, they found Alexandria Dodd, who had been shot multiple times. This tragic incident marked the 51st homicide in Jackson for the year 2017.
