Percy King, a beloved figure in Jackson, Mississippi, known as the "Snake Man," was tragically killed on January 19, 2018. King, aged 57, was a former zookeeper at the Jackson Zoo and a well-known wildlife educator who dedicated his life to teaching children and adults about animals. He was found dead in his home alongside 19-year-old Jarvis Birtfield, both victims of a double homicide.
