Laquita Shanta Roy, aged 39, was tragically shot and killed on March 20, 2018, in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident occurred in the garage of her home on Badger Drive. According to reports, officers were called to the scene around 11:30 a.m., where they found Roy's body. She had been shot multiple times. The Hinds County coroner confirmed her identity as Laquita Shanta Roy.
