On a spring day in 2018, the community of Corinth, Mississippi, was shaken by a violent act that resulted in the death of Christopher Erik Smith, a 24-year-old male from Iuka. On April 16th, Smith was involved in a triple shooting in the nearby area of Farmington. The incident also proved fatal for 39-year-old Jason Lovell, while a third victim, Paula Russell, sustained injuries but survived the attack.
