In the spring of 2018, the life of 19-year-old Willie Montrell Clark was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. On the evening of April 18th, he was discovered on University Boulevard, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the young man unresponsive, and his life could not be saved. His death was officially ruled a homicide, marking another grim statistic in what was a particularly violent month for the city.
