Death by Force

Tufan Muhammad, 26, was fatally shot on August 6, 2010, in the 7800 block of South Cornell Avenue, located on the Far South Side of Chicago. He was reportedly chased down an alley and shot by a man who was between the ages of 20 and 25. Muhammad's death occurred during a period of heightened violence in Chicago, adding to the tally of homicides in the city that year. Despite efforts to curb such incidents, gun violence remained a persistent issue in the area during that time.
