In the late hours of a Friday night in Biloxi, Mississippi, the life of a young Navy Seabee, Grace Kayla Davis-Marcheschi, came to a tragic end. The 23-year-old Builder Constructionman was fatally shot in the East Falcon Park housing area, a community managed by Keesler Air Force Base. She had recently taken on a temporary role with the security forces at the Naval Construction Battalion Center. Her death was initially investigated by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service as a homicide, a standard procedure in such cases.
