Julie Brightwell, a 52-year-old waitress from Biloxi, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on November 27, 2015. The incident occurred at a Waffle House on Beach Boulevard in Biloxi, where Julie was working. Around 1 a.m., Johnny Max Mount, a former Biloxi firefighter, entered the restaurant and began vaping. Julie informed him that smoking was not allowed inside the establishment. In response, Mount drew a gun and shot Julie in the head, resulting in her immediate death.
