In the autumn of 2018, a visit to a relative's home in Clarksdale, Mississippi, turned tragic for 38-year-old Lakisha McGee. On the evening of October 29th, two intruders forced their way into the residence on Cheyenne Street by kicking in the front door and immediately opened fire. McGee was struck by the gunfire and succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
