Robert D. Williams, a 34-year-old man from Terry, Mississippi, was found dead on March 1, 2019. His body was discovered under the Owens Road bridge in Terry, and the Hinds County coroner, Sharon Grisham-Stewart, confirmed that Williams had been shot in the chest. The coroner ruled his death a homicide. Williams had been reported missing by his family on February 17, 2019, after they had not heard from him since February 16, when he left Jackson to visit a friend in Byram.
