In the summer of 2022, a life was tragically cut short in Terry, Mississippi, leaving a community in shock. On the evening of July 2nd, 27-year-old Brandon Nix, a Black male, was fatally shot. The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. on Wynndale Road, where an argument escalated into deadly violence. Nix was shot twice during the altercation and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
