Anthony Brown, a 40-year-old resident of Southaven, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2019, in a shooting incident at the Walmart where he worked as a manager. The incident occurred early in the morning when a former employee, Martez Abram, opened fire on Walmart employees. Brown, along with another employee, Brandon Gales, was killed in the attack. The shooting also resulted in injuries to a Southaven police officer, who was saved by his bulletproof vest.
