In the early morning hours of September 13, 2019, the life of 23-year-old Timothy D. Jones was tragically cut short in McComb, Mississippi. Responding to a call just after 12:30 AM, McComb Police found Jones at the intersection of Summit Street and Higgins Drive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was a male resident of McComb.
Emergency services transported Jones to Southwest Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died shortly after arriving.
The community was left in shock by the violent death of the young man.
In the wake of the shooting, the McComb Police Department launched an investigation into the homicide. Despite their efforts, no arrests have been made in connection with the case, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
