In the late winter of 2020, the life of a young man from Jackson, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. Dominik Bracey, a 23-year-old Black male, was found deceased on February 28, 2020. His body was discovered in a wooded area near the 4700 block of Hanging Moss Road, leaving a community to grapple with the violent loss. An investigation by the Jackson Police Department would soon reveal the grim circumstances of his death.
