In the quiet, rural community of Wilkinson County, Mississippi, the early morning hours of June 11, 2020, were shattered by a senseless act of violence that claimed the life of 11-year-old LaKerriyah Chambers. The young girl became the unintended victim of a shooting spree carried out by three individuals who indiscriminately fired at homes and people. During the rampage, another individual, Shelitha Jarvis, sustained a gunshot wound to her leg but survived.
