In the summer of 2021, the life of 43-year-old Lisa Brooks was tragically cut short in her Macon, Mississippi home. Family members grew concerned after not hearing from her for several days and made the devastating discovery on Saturday, July 17, 2021. identified 33-year-old Henry Benamon as the primary suspect. Investigators revealed that Benamon had been in a romantic relationship with Brooks. He had been released from prison the previous October after serving time for drug possession and child endangerment.
