Eddie White, a 36-year-old resident of Fayette, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2020. The incident occurred on a Friday morning at approximately 9 a.m. at a gas station located at the corner of Main and Rodney Streets in Fayette. According to Fayette Police Chief LaShawn McMiller, Eddie White was shot and killed during an altercation. The Jefferson County Coroner, Ricky McDonald, confirmed that White died from injuries sustained in the shooting.
