In the small town of Fayette, Mississippi, a violent encounter on a Friday afternoon shattered the community's peace. On July 23, 2021, Kevin Lamont Hill, a 48-year-old male, was fatally shot while sitting in his car in the 1100 block of Main Street. The incident unfolded in broad daylight, at approximately 3:00 p.m., with law enforcement officers happening to be on patrol nearby.
