Marisha Golden Ward, aged 33, tragically lost her life on September 4, 2020, in Oxford, Mississippi. The incident occurred at her residence on County Road 1080, where the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department responded to a "shots fired" call. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Marisha's lifeless body. The immediate investigation led to the arrest of her husband, Sherard Eugene Ward, who was apprehended based on witness testimonies relayed to the 911 dispatch.
