On a September evening in Verona, Mississippi, Harvey Lee Russell Jr., a 58-year-old man, was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a violent altercation that claimed his life and that of another man. The events of September 17, 2020, unfolded when an argument broke out between two men in a car, leading to a fatal shooting. The other victim was identified as 35-year-old Thomas Tre Guido.
