In the late hours of a Saturday in Purvis, Mississippi, the lives of two people were tragically cut short. James Kevin Lowe, a 41-year-old male, was killed by gunshot wounds on November 14, 2020. His death was part of a double homicide, with the other victim identified as 37-year-old Amanda West Rutherford.
The man suspected of carrying out the violent act was 39-year-old Anthony Shane Simmons.
